Here's another prime example of what not to do.



What is that, a giant bowling pin?

I couldn't even tell what species it was until I got closer to its awesome presence.



Melaleuca, I believe, aka Black Tea Tree, Paperbark, etc. It shouldn't look like that. It should look like this one, only a couple blocks away.



It's good to know that not everyone with hedge shears is insane.


Note:
In Florida this tree has escaped cultivation and covers 450,000 acres of natural areas. I haven't noticed it as a pest in California, but be warned that it could be.
