Yikes! This interest of mine is getting expensive when you account for free food for rabbits! Total $128.07 USD (incl tax)
Bulbs are slated for pots since the rabbits have eaten their fill of thousands of bulbs from my garden.
The Eriogonum replaces a couple 4" of the same that the rabbits found inviting. I planted them out last night and placed sage branches over them, which the rabbits seem to not browse.
Iris goes in the raised planter next to the citrus - I've never seen a rabbit there (it's raised several feet).
The will eat the grasses too, but hopefully they will grow faster than the browse rate and I've located them in a place where they will get hot reflected light (S side of stones around our pond) so they will grow faster than the half sun places where I've tried them before. Note: look for and relocate any remnant Bouteloua to the better spot.
