Beautiful native grapes

Here's a beautiful way to plant native grapes that was brought home to me in stunning color while I visited Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens on Jan 4.  The juxtaposition of leaf colors in these native grape hybrids or cultivars takes this to a whole new level.

It's actually two grape vines planted together.  I think that the beautiful red one is Vitis 'Roger's Red' a hybrid Ca native grape.  I am less certain of the yellow / green one, but something like V. 'Walker Ridge' is a good guess based on its apparent vigor  next to the more vigorous 'Roger's Red' and its leaf color.

The next planter over from the above pictures shows clearly that there are two grape vines planted.
