Skagway native plant garden




Let's see what's in the Alaska native plant garden, shall we?


Mostly yarrow, Achillea millefoilum. Two troughs full, in fact.


Yep, yarrow.

This is the same as grows in S. California, though the larger and more upright growth habit of these plants and others seen in the wild speaks to the temperate rainforest climate they live in.



This looks like a Columbine, next to the yarrow.
